ACCA Professional Qualification
Entry requirements to register on the ACCA Professional Qualification;

  • 5 “O”  Levels including Maths and English plus,
  • 2 “A” Levels (Any subjects)
  • If you do not have the minimum entry requirements above you can register under the Foundations in Accountancy suite of qualifications.

Paper based exams can be written in June and December of each year while computer based exams can be written throughout the year. Our ACCA classes run from January to May for June examinations and July to November for December examinations. To become ACCA qualified, you need to sit and pass 14 examinations, complete the professional ethics module and complete 3 years relevant practical experience and achieve 13 performance objectives.

Foundations In Accountancy (FIA)

Entry requirements:
No previous academic qualifications are required to study for this qualification as it is suitable for school leavers or those already working in finance but without the required entry qualifications to do the ACCA qualification. Please note that upon completion of the Diploma in Accounting and Business plus professional ethics module, you can be transferred to the ACCA professional register.

Intermediate Certificate in Financial & Management Accounting
FA2 Maintaining Financial Records
MA2 Managing Costs and Finance

Diploma in Accounting and Business

FAB  Accountant in Business (AB)
FMA  Management Accounting (MA)
FFA  Financial Accounting (FA)
(Please note after completing FAB, FMA, FFA and an online ethics module you will be awarded a Diploma in Accounting and Business)

CAT Qualification
To achieve the CAT qualification you need to register as a student for FIA and complete 9 subjects (All of the above subjects plus 2 of the following options)
FTX Foundations in Taxation
FFM Foundations in Financial Management
FAU Foundations in Audit
You will need to complete a professionalism and ethics module called Foundations in Professionalism.

Examinations
Examinations for the Introductory, Intermediate and Diploma levels are available for both paper based and computer based
